Fabulous, architect designed, new house, is built on five levels overlooking the beautiful River Cam, on the edge of Cambridge.

The house is 4000 square feet, with four bedrooms and can sleep seven people. It has a huge lounge with an 18ft high ceiling and balcony, a games room with snooker table, juke box, large plasma screen TV with satellite and bar and wine cellar.

The en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom has a double whirlpool bath. The master bedroom and guest room are large, and both have king size beds. The third bedroom/guestroom has a King sized bed, and is self contained with it's own bathroom which is reached up a spiral staircase. The fourth bedroom has a single bed.

There is also a well equipped gym, with a pool table, air hockey and table football.

The kitchen is brand new with dishwasher, two ovens, American fridge/freezer, microwave and TV

The River Cam flows at the bottom of the garden where there is a summer house ideal for evening meals by the river, also a dock, boats and kayaks. You can sit in the summer house and watch the university rowers rowing by. The three quarter acre garden has a stream running through it. The garden also has an orchard and a hot tub with views across the field to the river.

Stansted airport is just 30 minutes away, where there is access to cheap flights anywhere in Europe.

Cambridge is a world famous university town with history dating back 1000's of years. It is situated about 40 north of London and the train takes you to the heart of London in 45 minutes.

Cambridge was voted the 9th most beautiful city in the world in 2011. The River Cam flows through the middle of the town and most of the 23 colleges are situated alongside the river. The winding river through the colleges is called "The Backs" and is often described as "the most beautiful mile in England".

Some of the colleges are very old dating back 600-700 years, many were founded by different kings and all have individual architecture.

Cambridge is not just an ancient city with old buildings, it is also the most dynamic, growing town in the UK. Often called Silicon Fen, in reference to silicon valley, the town is full of science parks developing cutting edge technology, mainly in computers and IT, but more lately Genome research.

The City has many fine restaurants, there are Thai, Chinese, Italian, Indian and many other cordon bleu restaurants both in the town and surrounding villages.

We have several mountain bikes for exploring the city and surrounding countryside, villages and pubs, and kayaks for exploring the river.

We have exchanged several times before in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Seattle, Carmel, Maui, Sydney, Cape Town, Bali, Perth, Brisbane, Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro, all successes.
