OUR SUMMER HOLIDAY FOR 2010 HAS BEEN SETTLED. Only available for summer 2011 or short brakes in city's
Nice big split level home on street level (140 square metres)in the heart of beautiful Amsterdam. This house is perfectly located for exploring all the highlights of Amsterdam and it is easy to drive out of the city to explore everything outside of Amsterdam.
The house has a terrace of 2 x 5 metres where you can dine of have breakfast (sun from 8am untill 1.30 pm. A small staircase takes you to a little patio and from there you can go to the public square which is free of cars and where children can play safely. For big kids (11 up) there is a stone soccer field around the corner.
You enter the house at street level and contains 3 floors:
Street level: dining room, kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave, oven etc), living room and toilet
Basement: there is a large room (30 square meter)where kids can play (toys available) or you can make an extra bedroom by expanding the sleep sofa for two persons.
1th floor: 3 bedrooms (1 master bedroom, 2 children bedrooms with high sleepers, Beds are 200cm x 80 cm and one bed is 190 x 90 cm) and a bathroom with 3 showers in one bathroom and a separate toilet
The house is easy to access from Shiphol airport with public transport (20 minutes by train and then 10 minutes with subway)and easy to access by car.
You have access to:
- Hifi set with real time streaming all tracks of the world from Raphsody.com in 3 rooms. So you listen to your own favourite music
- Wifi internet. Can agree on leaving a laptop at your disposal
- Washing machine (no dry cleaner)
- Television/dvd player
- Bicycles are available, including a "bakfiets" to transport two kids until the age of 10 See www.bakfiets.nl

Location is:
- 5 minutes walk to the 5 star Grand hotel Amstel
- 10 minutes walk to the Carre Theather and the skinny bridge
- 1 minute walk to the grand cafe ""IJsbreker" http://www.deysbreeker.nl/, and trendy restaurant "Villa Ruys" http://www.villaruysch.nl/ at the end of the street and the river Amstel where Amsterdam derived his name from
- Museum square (van Gogh, Rijks museum) are 12 minutes by bike (900 metres)
- Great shopping and dining street Utrechtsestraat is 5 min with bike or 15 min walk
- Leidse square and Rembrandt square are 15 minutes by bike (1300 metres)
- Flower market is 15 minutes by bike (1300 metres).
- Off course we will leave some sight seeings behind which do not contain the places all the tourists go. Send us by email the kind of restaurants/bars/sight seeing you like and we will leave a map for you |

| We have a cat which will stay home. He is very easy to maintain and friendly towards people and kids. He loves to stay outdoor, even at night. Only thing we ask is to feed him (if you are not in the house for a couple of days we can arrange the neighbors to take care of him. |

First we go to the Chech Republic to meet some friends and after that we want to go to Sweden, Italy or France. But other countries are also welcome as long as there is sufficient nature involved. We are looking for a exchange in the period somewhere beteen 25/7 untill 11/8. Our house is available for 3,5 weeks from 17-07-2010 until 11-08-2010

Our house is available from 17-7-2010 untill 11-08-2010. We are looking for an exchange from 24-7-2010 until 11-08-2010 (around these dates)in Italy, France, Sweden, north of Spain or other interesting places which are easy reachable by car from Prague (is were we meet some people. As long the house you offer for this summer is in the nature and NOT in a city. Preferable at sea side or in the country to enjoy the peaceful nature or with a private swimming pool. But other suggestions are welcome.
For the weekends during the year:
Every city for a weekend exchange is also welcome (as long as there are some interesting museums or architecture). No particular weekend in mind. Just mail and we find a mutual weekend. For Paris we do have an agreement.
