| Our holiday home is a second floor, 75 sq.metre apartment set back up on the hill of Roquebrune-Cap Martin on the beautiful Cote D'Azur in the South of France. The property is South-East facing, with balconies both front and rear. It has a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV and wonderfully tiled bathroom and toilet. Marbled floor throughout keeps it cool in summer. It is centrally heated for winter. |

| Roquebrune-Cap Martin is an exclusive area of the Cote D'Azur, situated between Monaco and Italy.The apartment is a 5 minute walk (partly down steps - a mild incline) to the beginning of a very long pebble beach and promenade, together with a few shops and wonderful cafe overlooking the sea.The train station (Carnoles) is 10 minutes walk, giving you access to Italy (eastwards), Monaco, Nice and Marseille (westwards).For those with a bit more energy, you can walk from the apartment to Monaco along a coastal footpath around the edge of Cap Martin (under 2 hours).The climate here is very mild throughout the year, reaching the high 80's in the summer months with 300 sunny days a year on average (a pleasant contrast to London !).The nearby town of Menton, which is famous for it's Lemon Festival, is full of restaurants (a lot of Italian influence) and pleasant walking-areas free from traffic. There is also a great fresh-food market open every day from 5am for local produce.By car, Monaco is 10 minutes drive, or further afield you could try St. Tropez (1 1/2 hours) or Portofino in Italy (2 hours).The ski-resort of Isola 2000 is 90km away providing a great day out skiing during the winter months. |

We like to keep the property a smoke-free zone and would prefer no pets.The apartment is 40 minutes drive from Nice International airport and a clean garage is provided (there are numerous car rental companies at the airport) or you can combine a helicopter trip to Monaco (10 mins) and a taxi journey from there (10 mins).
Alternatively a bus and train service operates between Nice and Menton town centre (which is a 20 minute walk or short taxi ride from apartment). |
