Our house is a three bedroom terrace located in the quiet town of Cheshunt, just on the outskirts of London. The train station is a 5 minute walk from our house and it takes 25 minutes to get to Central London. Master bedroom has a queen size bed, there's a single bed in a children's room and a small bedroom with baby bed. There's also a comfy double sofa-bed in the living room downstairs. We've got a washing machine and a dishwasher. You can warm up in front of the fire place in the living room or snuggle up on the sofa in front of Sky TV or watch a DVD. Our house is very cosy and well presented.

There's a quiet garden at the rear of the house. We have a trampoline and lots of toys for children as well as adult's and children's bicycles (including bike trailer for the little ones). There is parking at the front of the house. Our street is very quiet and neighbours are friendly.

We live in a fantastic place - close to all London attractions and yet in a quiet and rural area. Just on our doorstep there's a large Lea Valley Country Park with many walking and cycling routes, boating and fishing lakes and canals, birdwatching spots, children's farms and white water rafting and kayaking centre built for 2012 London Olympics. Our house is 5 minutes walk from a local train station with trains to Central London. From our house you have a 5 minute walk to the local shops (groceries, take aways, post office, cafes). Historic town of Waltham Abbey is a 5 minute drive from us and there are many local places the whole family can enjoy (safari park, local farms, sailing, climbing etc.). We have a close friend living nearby who would be very happy to help you with anything.

We would be happy to exchange cars (subject to insurance availability). We have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee automatic. We have car seats for a baby and children up to age 11 (which is the law in the UK).

Our house is equipped with baby equipment - including a cot, high chair, stair gate etc.

Stansted & Luton Airports are 35 minutes away and there is a direct train which goes to and from the Stansted Airport.

For summer 2013 we're looking for a hot european destination with access to a swimming pool.

We'd like to exchange for two to three weeks in the summer 2014 in or around South California, preferably in San Diego or Los Angeles area, or Florida or any hot & sunny state.

We would be more than happy with shorter weekend breaks in the UK and the rest of Europe.

We are a happy family of four. Ania works in a library in London and is very passionate about yoga. Adam is an IT Manager working for local government and loves old American cars. We have two children - Julia who's seven and Maximilian who's three. Julia is a very bright girl who loves swimming and cycling. Max is a very contented toddler and loves to eat and play with his big sister. We are well traveled and our children got 'the bug' from us. They have both been with us to the States, Poland, Germany, France & Spain and Julia visited Cuba and Canary Islands with us before Max was born. We love to spend time with our friends and family, cycle and walk in the local park, go to concerts and restaurants. We are very house-proud and appreciate what we've got.


In the Summer of 2011 we have exchanged our home with a family from North Carolina. We all found it to be a terrific experience. In Summer 2012 we exchanged our home again, this time with a Spanish family. Again, we believe we have made friends for life. We are very much looking forward to our next home exchange - wherever it will be.
