Our location is a great home-base for sight-seeing in Washington DC, the nation's captial.....think monuments, Smithsonian museums, water activities on the Potomac, etc. Our home is minutes away from Metro stops on the Red Line (we like to use Grosvenor). Metro access can take you anywhere in DC, including Reagan National Airport. Some other suggested day trips include Harper's Ferry (West Virginia), Hershey Park (Pennsylvania), Mount Vernon (Virginia), Annapolis (Maryland), Chesapeake Bay (Maryland), Great Falls National Park, among others.

Comfortable split-level home, traditionally decorated, with 2 large living areas. Large front yard and patio in back yard for outdoor dining. Kitchen and master bedroom/bathroom have been recently remodeled. Two bedrooms are on the upper level, each with a queen-size bed. The third bedroom is currently used as an office and there is a twin bed. So 4-5 people can reside on the upper level. There is a finished basement and laundry on the lower level, however, there is not a bathroom on that level.

Our large, quiet neighborhood has an "off-the-beaten-path" feel, where walkers, joggers, and cyclists abound. The neighborhood was established approximately 50 years ago.....there are many tall, mature trees. The majority of homes are two-story colonials.

We are looking for a 10 to 14 day exchange beginning in mid-July (for example, July 16 to July 26).

This will be our first trip to Italy. We would like to see Rome, Venice, Florence, and Cinque Terre.

We are a family of 4 (Tim, June, daughters Rachel [26] and Megan [17]). We will be happy to care for your pets and plants!
