Master bedroom with ensuite bath/jacuzzi and shower, 2 children's bedrooms, 1 spare room with comfortable double sofa-bed, 3 showers in all and 3 toilets, large and well-equipped kitchen, sunny 60m2 living room, with lots of books, toys, flims etc. The flat has marble floors and underfloor heating, large flat-screen tv with cable channels, dvd, internet etc. It is on the fifth floor (there is a lift) with terraces east and west and views towards the Vosges mountains and Black Forest. |

| Strasbourg is a mid-sized town in Alsace, NE France near the German border, with an outstanding Gothic cathedral, mediaeval town centre and 100s of restaurants. Less than an hour's drive in every direction finds you in beautiful countryside - mountains, forests, vineyards, castles. Many Christmas traditions originated in Alsace, and there are Christmas markets in Strasbourg and many local villages, some of which also have fairs to celebrate the wine, fruit and sauerkraut harvests. The German Black Forest, Swiss Alps and Italian lakes are all within a few hours' drive. This is a very child-friendly region and there are lots of activities for children: swimming, indoor and outside; pony riding; bike and walking trails; castles to visit; zoos and other animal-based visits; and the brilliant Europa Park theme park close by in Germany. |

| We have a Honda CRV 4x4 which we would consider lending you, and a cleaner who would continue to visit once a week throughout your stay. We also could put you in touch with our very nice babysitter. |
